Catalyst Wedding Company highlights weddings by and for game-changers. We seek to amplify and empower voices and viewpoints that are usually missing from the Wedding Industrial Complex. We're a community of badass wedding professionals who love all things funky, fresh, diverse, unique, and personality-driven; we convene twice yearly for (un)convention, a collaborative workshop, styled shoot, and dinner party. We're also the publishers of Catalyst Wedding Mag, a resource for couples looking for inspiration and affirmation that doing things differently in wedding-world is not only ok, it's wonderful!

I don't really think that either of us believed that we would find love. We were and are hopeless romantics who had just not found the right person yet. We met in the most whimsical of ways, on a dating app for lesbians. But the first time we actually met, there was no denying the love that we felt for each other. When we saw each other it was a realization that we had loved each other in the past, present, and future. A true soulmate. - Elinor

Get to know Taylor Boyd Photography: I'm an avid camper, tea drinker, gardener, bee keeper, joker, and knitter. I'm also that awesome person rockin' the socks and Birkenstocks.

I grew up in the Blue Ridge Mountains, specifically Waynesville, NC. This little town is nestled between Asheville and Sylva, NC. This may be one of the main reasons I chose to attend Western Carolina University. I recently graduated with an elementary education degree, as well as a 2D art degree. I actually started my photography business when I graduated high school and have since pushed myself to continue my dream throughout my college career.

The more I work with all of the different personalities and backgrounds, the more I love what I do. I absolutely love people and I love getting to know them. The more I travel, the more I become curious about all the cultures and lives of those we meet. Everyone has a story to tell, so why not capture that story?

Let's be real. I could embellish this and that on my website but I prefer to shoot straight. There is something in all of us that is worth capturing. Something that inspires and pushes us to our limits. Something that sparks a fire and seizes the imagination.

That spark for me? Photography.
