Catalyst Wedding Company highlights weddings by and for game-changers. We seek to amplify and empower voices and viewpoints that are usually missing from the Wedding Industrial Complex. We're a community of badass wedding professionals who love all things funky, fresh, diverse, unique, and personality-driven; we convene twice yearly for (un)convention, a collaborative workshop, styled shoot, and dinner party. We're also the publishers of Catalyst Wedding Mag, a resource for couples looking for inspiration and affirmation that doing things differently in wedding-world is not only ok, it's wonderful!

This is a collaborative wedding styled shoot of your everyday couple, Andrew and William. We styled this shoot in a beautiful venue, a private boat, with beautiful people involved. Using primary colours with bold accents, we tried to design a celebration of love and the bond a couple shares on their wedding day.

We are all about LOVE and all that love has to offer in all its beautiful ways. We at Lily & Roses Exquisite Events cater to all, and we want to make everyone's special day as magical as the love they share. That's it! Let love sparkle.

From the couple: We are very privileged to have our photo shoot done by these wonderful collaborators! Everyone was enthusiastic and so lively. Every detail was on point. We laughed all through the photo shoot, and that is of great importance to us!

BRITTANY LEE SMYTH

Brittany Lee Smyth is an Ottawa based wedding photographer who adores red wine, hugs, hammocks, and couples who are madly in love. When she is not documenting an incredible wedding day, Brittany can be found getting involved with her local creative community, spending time with friends, and planning adventures with her husband. Brittany wholeheartedly feels you have to stand up for what you believe in, even if you are the only one standing.
