Created by interior designer Katie Burt, The Wedding Nest Gift Registry lets couples create unique registries full of designer pieces. Many gifts that couples receive are unwanted, or simply aren't meant to stand the test of time. The items available via The Wedding Nest are all high quality and couples will find items for their home that will last as long as their marriage.

What is the mission of The Wedding Nest?
Our proposition is that a couples’ wedding registry should style their home.
Like every other aspect of your wedding, your registry becomes an expression of your individual style to inspire your guests. We style your registry like a magazine with your dream home inspiration style photos integrated with your wedding gifts. Your guests won’t just feel like they are giving you a gift but that they are helping you create your dream home.
We also look to be affordable with a wide range of price ranges and options for gifts to be contributed too.
What is the origin story of The Wedding Nest?
We recognised that many couples live together before getting married and have the most of the home basics. The founders wanted a registry with design based gifts that are truly special.
What is your favorite project that you've worked on?
My brother and now my beautiful sister-in-law. They were pregnant at the wedding and had just bought a new place so it was very special to help them collate and receive so many gorgeous gifts.
How are you a "wedding space disruptor"?
Removing unwanted gifts! Such a waste for a couple to receive an item that they don't want or need. We also love helping up and coming artists, so no mass produced art.
What three ingredients are necessary for a great day at The Wedding Nest?
- Patting the company pug Peggy when you arrive is a must.
- Sourcing new and amazing products for our registries.
- Organising and finalising deliveries with happy couples.
What are some traits of your ideal clients?
We always seem to have great rapport with clients who are friendly and open to suggestions.
But we understand it can be a stressful time for couples!
