Real Couples // Surprise Proposal & Wedding in One Day: Andrew + Judah

In the middle of October, Andrew posted an ad looking for a photographer to assist in a surprise proposal to his boyfriend of 4 years, Judah. They moved from Louisiana about a year ago, and he wanted to propose to Judah at one of their favorite places. Both of their families flew to New York on the 5th (per Andrew's directions without Judah having any idea) to surprise Judah at the proposal.

The experience was amazing. I watched Andrew walk the love of his life to the fountain, where both of their families were awaiting their arrival, and there they stood with rose petals on the concrete and smiles on their faces. You can tell this is something they have been waiting on for a while. After Judah said yes and we captured a few family shots, we maneuvered our way through the neighborhood for a quick 101 with the newly-engaged couple. They were so sweet and you can just feel the love between them.

Later on that night, Andrew and Judah said their vows and tied the knot. To me, it was a fairytale from beginning to end. I want an "Andrew" in my life. Haha.
